As its first step, NAR-INDIA has developed an entry-level test titled as RE-MET (Real Estate Membership Entrance Test) this test is mandatory for all NAR-INDIA member associations brokers and REALTORS. All existing brokers who hold a valid membership in any NAR-INDIA approved city association are required to undertake the RE-MET test within six month beginning August 15th 2010.

NEW MEMEBRS BROKERS / REALTORS |
All new members wanting to join an NAR-INDIA approved city real estate association shall after August 1st 2010 be required to take the RE-MET test and successfully pass the test in order to apply for membership to any NAR-INDIA city association. Membership shall be granted on successful completion of the RE-MET test and meeting all other required admission criteria of the local association membership guidelines.

MEMBERSHIP-AT-LARGE CATEGORY

All members wanting to join NAR-INDIA through its MEMBERSHIP-AT-LARGE CATEGORY, this test will enable the membership committee to assess the basic skill sets of the practitioner before granting of membership.
